ISA provided a valuable opportunity to our students to use their knowledge on ICT and English language in a large scale while working with the partner schools in abroad. It was very challenging but enjoyable, massive task to work with many people from various countries in the world. Communicating with foreign students through internet, email & Skype sessions was a new experience for our students. The projects implemented in the school were carried along with field visits, discussions and various assignments.
In addition, the students gained the scope to engage in collaborative activities, to develop team spirit and to face all the challenges such as time management and bearing responsibilities. The enthusiasm and dedication expressed the students representing from grade 6 to 12 was truly amazing. This was an excellent opportunity for them to deviate from the monotonous range of subjects and gain novel experiences through these kinds of projects.
Through our projects, we focused on cultural diversity, cultural and ethnic understanding, global issues, environment and sustainable local and global development and so on. We exchanged many information related to culture, religion, environment with the partner school. It is glad to say though the projects are over, our global partners expressed their willingness to continue the linkage and friendship with us in the future too. Some of the students of the partner country (Nigeria) have expressed their willingness to visit our country. That shows the impact of the joint projects on students. So, we are happy that we achieved our target by successfully completing projects according to our motto, “path way to friendship, sharing with the world, caring for the world.”
